Yahya Saleem
Chairman of YS Group
After graduating from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Mr. Yahya joined the family business as director of the Nishat Chunian Group, setting up a spinning mill in 1990. The company has since diversified into weaving, home textile, power generation and entertainment sectors. Today with a turnover of PKR 29.8 billion, NCL ranks amongst the top 5 textile companies in Pakistan.
The group ventured into the power business in 2007 with a 200 MW Independent Power Plant (IPP), Nishat Chunian Power Ltd. With a turnover of PKR 16.47 billion in 2015, the IPP provides electricity to the national grid. Both the companies are listed on Pakistan Stock Exchange.
Together with his family, he has set up a Trust which is in memory of his father, Sheikh Mohammad Saleem. The trust has launched a not-for-profit hospital in Lahore. The hospital will be built with state of the art international standards and will provide subsidized health care to the under privileged section of the city.
In 2015 he started a company by the
name of NC Trading USA which is a cotton trading company based in USA, and
actively sells US cotton in Pakistan. Today YS Group is by far the largest
importer of Cotton into Pakistan
M. Iqbal Khurram
YS Group CEO
Mr. Khurram is the CEO of YS Group. He manages the cotton business and has several years of experience working in cotton. He Graduated with Honors from NUECS Lahore in 2002. He majored in Business Management and Computer Science. He started working in 2006 with Nishat Group in Senior positions.
Ghabish Ahmed
NC Entertainment Pvt Ltd CEO
Ghabish Ahmed has extensive finance and accounting experience in a diverse range of industries including retail, manufacturing, and service industries. He completed ACCA in 2012. He worked in Nishat Chunian Limited (one of the largest textile composite) and ChenOne Stores in various positions before joining NC Entertainment Private Limited in 2017. He started his job as a manager of Accounting and Finance, and now working as a head of Accounts, Finance, Operations, and Marketing.
Omar Yahya
Manager
Omer Yahya graduated from Bentley University in 2022. He
graduated on the Dean's Honors list, majoring in Corporate Finance and
Accounting with a minor in law. He is now working in NC Entertainment Private
Limited as a manager.
